Cream Cheese Frosting

16 OZ Cream Cheese room temperature
• 
8 OZ Butter (2 sticks) room temperature
• 
4 Cups Powdered Sugar
• 
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
• 
Electric mixer

Combine the butter and cream cheese in the mixing bowl using the Paddle Attachment on Medium Speed. Mix until fully combined. Add powdered sugar slowly until fully integrated into the mixture. Add vanilla. Mix until smooth.

TIP  

 
Make sure the butter and cream cheese are the same temperature when you begin, otherwise you could get clumps in your frosting. Note: cream cheese frosting can be very “tacky” and “gooey”; adjust recipe to your liking by adding more cream cheese or more powder sugar. For a frosting-filling variation, add ½ Cup of raspberry fruit jam.
